Brrr…. It’s too cold to get outside and work on your game these days (global warming?) but you can always find a space inside to practice your putting. And, if you’re gonna practice, why not do it right?
So, grab your Waggle Golf Pass and head over to the Washington Golf Center in Arlington, VA to check out their new TOMI Putting Studio.
Pierre Noizet (one of the developers of TOMI) and his team will hook you and your putter up to the TOMI system (it’s painless and fun) to capture and record the motions of your putter in 3D in real time, from initial address throughout the entire stroke.
Immediate feedback, in easy to understand charts, is provided on clubhead alignment at impact, clubhead path at impact, stroke path and club rotation, impact spot on clubhead, stroke tempo and more.
The analysis can include putter fitting and tips on how to work on your putting.
Golfweek’s 2009 list of the Best Courses You Can Play ranks the best courses open for public play by state. The #1 and #2 courses for Maryland are Bulle Rock and Lake Presidential. And you can save when you play these fantastic tracks with the Waggle Golf Pass.
Another pass favorite is The River Marsh course at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay which Golfweek ranks #5.
NEW for 2010…
One of the most popular pair of golf courses in Northern Virginia is Twin Lakes in Fairfax. For the first time this great set of eighteens gives pass-holders a nice weekday two for one deal on these well maintained layouts.
The Lakes Course (1967) is a wide open track with very large greens, while the newer Oaks Course (1998) winds through some woods and water to provide a greater challenge.
Both are fun to play and even more fun when you save!

The U.S. Golf Pass is now the Waggle Golf Pass
Waggle.com is celebrating our 10th Anniversary in 2009. We are excited to have been part of the golf scene in the Mid-Atlantic for the past decade and look forward to another 10 great years.
During 2009 you will see a lot of changes, here’s our first…
Starting with the 2009 golf season the U.S. Golf Pass has been renamed the Waggle Golf Pass. In 2007 Waggle.com acquired the U.S. Golf Pass and kept the name for the first 2 years. But it is now time to bring the pass under the Waggle brand and to tie the pass in more closely with our popular local golf website Waggle.com.
In addition to the name change we have also added 25% more offers while keeping the cost of the book the same! We also have improved some of existing offers and have more weekend play.
